September 10, 2011 marks a great day in history for any and all Cyclone fans. In the first overtime game against the Hawkeyes, (if you haven't heard) WE WON! In triple overtime, Iowa kicked a field goal, and Iowa State got the touchdown. 'Nuff said. :D Ames was crazy Saturday night! (I also got a satchel from mi tienda favorita, Target) :)
September 11, 2001 marks sadness across the United States, and a decade later, we have yet to return to the America I once knew. Today, thank a public official if you get a chance or write a thank you letter. One more suggestion, simply lift up a prayer for the hurting family and friends as their suffering goes under the microscope today. Be the shoulder to cry on if you know anybody that needs it, even if it's not related to this scarred day of history.
